ECO Ranking (this version): 3
ECO Ranking (maximum): 1 - UCXDRIVER-020_A051

This ECO kit provides a new version of UCXDRIVER for MultiNet V5.1 Rev A.
This version of UCXDRIVER.EXE corrects the following problem(s):

UCXDRIVER-030_A051 - ECO Rank 3 - Corrects a specific problem
------------------
- Don't return more data than there is space provided for in
IO$_ACPCONTROL calls.
(DE 10555: ECO Rank 3 UCXDRIVER-030_A051)

- Set options at socket creation so that out of band data processing
more closely matches TCP/IP Services.
(DE 10558: ECO Rank 3 UCXDRIVER-030_A051)

----------------------------------------
This kit also includes the following changes from previous ECO kits:

UCXDRIVER-020_A051 - ECO Rank 1 - System crash
------------------
- Correct a timing window in deassign operations that could cause a
pending I/O to get missed by the implied cancel and end up causing
the process to hang while the deassign waits for all pending I/O to
complete. (DE 10289)

- Correct an error in memory management on IA64 that can cause data
corruption and lead to crashes. (DE 10404)

UCXDRIVER-010_A051 - ECO Rank 1 - System crash
------------------
- An error in flushing read and write operation queues when a
deaccess operation is performed could result in a system crash due
to MULDEALNPAGE, Multiple deallocation of nonpaged pool. (DE 10094)

You *must* reboot after installing this ECO kit.

G'day Brian,

Phew! You're talking about "wheels" right? (Just had an unpleasant
flash-back to duelling-banjos and that regrettable scene from Deliverance
:-)

C'mon Brian, you'd hardly know I was here most of the time as I move
Kwai-Chang-Caine-like across the newsgroup rice-paper. In any event I think
you are doing the Process Software people a injustice here. From personal
experience, and from observing that of others, I honestly believe this is
par for the course for these guys/gals (and undertaken despite my moaning
rather than because of it :-)

(Having said that, "Less than 6 days from dodgy problem report-> through
development -> QA -> Manufacturing" is truly impressive!)

Anyway that's enough sucking-up; with the hard time I've been giving Matt
Muggeridge lately, I don't want my objectivity to be brought into question
:-)

I wasn't speaking badly about Process. Just commenting on your "take it to
the public square" campaigns. I've tried the same many times. You're just
a better orator for action than I.
