Multinet 5.0 is supposed to be patched with ECO's ending in _A050
ECO's ending with A051 are for Multinet version 5.1

The socket_library-010_a051 patch also has the problem. The patch
socket_library-010_a050 is ok.

The socket_library-010_a051 patch also has the problem. The patch
socket_library-010_a050 is ok.
On VAX OpenVMS 7.2 and Multinet 5.0 with the socket_library-011_a051
patch, a host table lookup (_gethostbyname()) for a name in the host
table (e.g. localhost) fails with an access violation. Replacing
MULTINET_SOCKET_LIBRARY from the original 5.0 distribution solves
the problem. I came across this problem when the MX SMTP Server was
dying when a client sent "HELO localhost".
