I am running: Process Software MultiNet V5.0 Rev A, AlphaServer ES40,
OpenVMS AXP V7.1-2 with no patches at one of my client sites.
I am trying to download a .ZIP file from my company's FTP server by
doing: MGET WEEKLY*.ZIP. I receive an error of "<550 Permission
denied" right after doing the NLST WEEKLY*.ZIP.. If I do just a GET,
I receive the same error. This client is external to my company
network.
I know that this could be a permission issue, but the permissions on my
FTP server is wide open (all my clients use the same Username/Password
to access the FTP server). I also found that this problem can also be
caused by a firewall with a "no ftp write" permission set.
I have other clients running different version of Multinet and OpenVMS
and they do not have this problem.
My client swears that the problem is on my side, however I feel that it
is a problem at their end.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me???
Any help would be appreciated,
Randy Johnson
