Hi,
I just upgraded my HP rx2600 server to OpenVMS I64 V8.3 and now MultiNet
won't start:
$ @SYS$SYSDEVICE:[MULTINET.CLIVE.MULTINET]START_MULTINET
%MULTINET-W-KRNNOTLOADED, kernel MULTINET_ip_DEVICE_CONFIG not loaded
%SYSTEM-F-INSFMEM, insufficient dynamic memory
Yet there is 8.5MB free Nonpaged Pool.
$ MU CHECK
MultiNet Checkout Utility V5.1(33)
%MNCHK-W-DBSECERR, error accessing global section NETWORK_DATABASE
-RMS-E-FNF, file not found
%MNCHK-F-NOKERNEL, MultiNet kernel check failed
-MNCHK-F-NONETIMG, could not open file MULTINET_NETWORK_IMAGE:
$ MU SHOW/VERS
Process Software MultiNet V5.1 Rev A-X, HP rx2600 (900MHz/1.5MB), OpenVMS I64 V8.3
I have re-installed MultiNet 5.1 and all the latest MultiNet patches and it
still won't start.
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks,
Jeremy Begg
